CHAPTER 30_ PAIN
was back in jail. He kept resting his forehead against the bars and cold eyes closed. Now that he was alone and could think in peace, now that the fear was gone he thought of his father. He was dead. Dead. Struck in the chest by a bullet and swallowed by the waves. A deafening panic pervaded the accelerating beats of his heart, put her hand over her mouth and started to cry as she had not had time to do before. He felt eyes glaze over and his cheeks wet. His father was gone and would never see again. He had long awaited the day when he would take with him on his precious ship, which would teach him everything there was to know about life at sea, as ruler of a ship, and that he could be proud of him, despite the diversity of their thought, in most cases.
"Are you hungry?"
The captain's voice startled him. Broke away from the bars and turned away, would not see his face.
"N-no."
"What do you do, cry?" Churches closer.
"No-No ... of course" was interrupted because the captain grabbed his chin and forced him through the bars to turn to him. Unarmed, Morgan found himself openly in front of him, eyes wide and wet, her cheeks streaked and dirty.
"It was such a father whose death could cause this pain?"
"Do you realize what you're saying? It was my father ... you ... you've taken me forever! "
" Abraxas No one was doing a good father. "
"That's not ... you ...!"
"That's not ... you ...!"
David was about to say something when his face was won by a grimace of pain and doubled over, starting to sweat. Morgan looked at him, unable even to move.
The captain tried to laugh, but what was created was unconvincing.
"Wow, even in this state you could get the better of me tried to get up but stumbled, and instinctively Morgan stepped forward as to support it. Both he realized, and gazed with astonishment.
What was he doing? It was crazy?
David addresses half smile and then, calmly got up and went up the stairs.
